The 3PH-B400W will convert three SPC series static inverters into a WYE 115/200 VAC, 400 Hz three phase operation. 3PH-B400

One of the static inverters is employed as a master oscillator synchronizing signal and is fed into a transformer phase shift circuit. Two signals (one 120 degree leading and 120 degree lagging) from this phase shifter are then connected to the oscillator synchronization circuit of the slaved inverters. The 3PH-B400 provides isolation between the oscillator synchronization of each inverter, thus each inverter will operate individually even though the load may be unbalanced.

DC To DC Converter: This circuit uses an isolation transformer to couple energy from the input circuit to the output inverter. This completely isolates the output power from the input power line.

Output Inverter: Model SPC6-1500: The output consists of two inverters which are connected in series for the 0 to 260 VAC operating range and in parallel for the 0 to 130 VAC operating range. Separate output terminals are provided in order to minimize the possibility of incorrect external connections (ie. 130 VAC load connected to a 260 VAC output).

The SPC6-1500 and SPC6-1501 are designed for use on test benches to check radars, compasses, gyros and other navigation equipment where regulated voltage and frequency are required.
 

The DC output is factory calibrated to 28 Vdc at the receptacle for a 10 amp load. The output voltage level is controlled manually by the duration of grounding the Dim or Bright control pin through an external momentary On-Off toggle switch.

The RHB40 is designed to maintain on-line critical equipment and instruments during engine starts. For an input voltage greater than 24 Vdc the unit operates in a conduction or override mode and delivers up to 35 Amp of continuous output current.
 

The current drain from the 28 VDC buss is 25 milliamperes when the three phase output signals of the EL1 are connected to sync lines of the three static inverters.

The EL1 provides two sets of three phase signals for two groups of KGS static inverters; Group #1 - SPC-5(G), SPC-38( ) and SPC-75(B), and Group #2 - SPC-10(F), SPC-10(N), SPC-10(H), SPC-10(J) and SPC-10(U).

Group #1 inverters take a 400 Hz 15 volt square wave from the EL1 to the inverter sync lines and Group #2 inverters take a string of two level 800 Hz pulse signals from the EL1 to the inverter sync lines.
