Mentor M15RCU-24-A Radio Control Unit
$1,760.00 $1,672.00 On Sale!
M152RCU-24-A
The Model M15RCU Radio Control Unit is based on the Model M15 radio receiver, combined with a controller board utilizing a Microchip PIC16C711 microcontroller. Operation is configurable per FAA spec. L-854, used for turning runway lighting on and off by "clicking" the aircraft transmitter's microphone push-to-talk switch 3, 5 or 7 times within 5 seconds. Many other options are selectable by jumpers on the controller board along with setting of an 8 position DIP switch. Thus extending the usefulness of this product to other applications as well. For aviation uses the receiver frequency is in the range 118.000 to 136.975 Mhz, The model M15RCU-M operates in the vhf "high band" (150-170 Mhz) for marine and other applications.
The M15RCU consists of two printed circuit board assemblies mounted on a 5.5" x 15" black anodized aluminum plate. For those customers needing emvironmental protection we offer the M15RCU-24-AN which is a standard M15RCU mounted in a NEMA 4 enclosure. The marine version M15RCU in the NEMA enclosure is the M15RCU-24-MN.
For customers needing a FAA certified Runway Lighting Control unit, please contact Reginald Bennett International,Inc. or call Phone: (905) 686-8833,
Some specifications include:
