NULITE Instrument Panel Light Wedges are a terrific new replacement lighting system for aircraft instruments. They give the same lighting appearance as internal lighting kits at a fraction of the cost. NULITEs have a special bezel that focus light toward the instrument, preventing light from reflecting into the pilot’s eyes. When sandwiched between the instrument and panel, NULITEs concentrate 60% of the light on the upper half of the instrument. This ensures that there are no problems with parallax, hot or cold spots, or glare.We can wire NULITEs into any existing dimming system without the need for extra circuits, inverters, or remote boxes.
NuLites are considered supplemental light to the manufacturers/aircraft approved lighting and therefore do not require anything other than a log book entry. No 337's, field approvals or STC's are required. Connections to the aircraft power systems must be done by a qualified certificated person. An electrical load analysis must be complied with in accordance with A.C. 43.13-1a Chapter 11, Section 2, Paragraphs 424, 425, 426, 427, and 428. A PMA #PQ876S has been granted for NuLite. APG-Eastern Avionics can perform most NULITE installations in less than a day!
