Our custom fitted Alpha Eagle Helmet features an ultra-lightweight design, weighing, on average, only 2 lbs. and is designed for aircrews over a wide variety of mission applications including police air support, emergency services, forestry, and crop spraying. It’s also ideally suited for warbird pilots tired of the older, heavier surplus helmets or the aerobatic pilot who needs a wide field of vision combined with lightweight head protection. In addition to offering superior head protection, the Alpha Eagle offers outstanding audio quality boasting of noise attenuation of over 40dB @ 4 kHz using the standard headphones. Even greater attenuation can be achieved by incorporating optional ANR headphones.
The cushioned interior with simple, rapid size adjustment provides excellent comfort, fit, retention, and balance, while the epoxy resin aramid carbon fiber shell offers a high level of head protection. The Alpha Eagle is a modular-based helmet configuration that can be custom built using a wide range of equipment options. These include single or double visors with clear or tinted screens, semi-rigid or NVG compatible visor covers, ANR (Active Noise Reduction), and a choice of boom microphones with compatibility for most on-board communications.
