Many of the features found only in Class 3 EFBs, such as "FMS-style" line select keys, a high-resolution, fully dimmable display, integrated communication capabilities and DO-160D qualification make the PilotView™ EFB an ideal system to meet the varied requirements of the business jet operators and air transport market.

The high-quality display offers exceptional readability in all cockpit ambient light conditions for charts, documents, weather data or other electronic data. The PilotView™ EFB increases situational awareness in-flight with en-route, approach charts, moving map display, graphical weather information. It improves productivity by enabling pre-flight planning and efficient access to up-to-date aircraft documentation, checklists, and operational planning information. Its compact, light weight design enables easy installation in a variety of cockpits. In addition to line select keys, the PilotView™ EFB offers a "film-on-glass" touch-sensitive screen providing pilots with a choice when accessing or navigating through EFB software applications.

Fits full approach plates - 8.4" AMLCD XGA display (1024 X 768). Exceptional readability in all cockpit lighting conditions – fully dimmable (800 to 1 nit). Quickly view video from surveillance systems – one-touch video key enables the pilot to toggle between the current application and video images. Immediately view what is on the other pilot's display through the touch of a single key – integrated pilot/copilot configuration for dual installed systems. Quick and accurate typing of messages – integrated sliding “FMSstyle” keyboard remains hidden in the EDU when not in use. Easily installed in a wide variety of cockpits - only 8.5" H x 6.1" W x 1.5" D (21.6cm H x 15.5cm W x 3.8cm D). Multiple interfaces – Wireless (802.11a/b/g), PCMCIA, USB 2.0, Ethernet, ARINC 429, RS232, Video In (RS170/NTSC). Certifiable aircraft power with battery back-up. Qualified to DO-160D.
