The NEWEST AvMap EKP-IVC GPS charting system combines the industry's largest
7" high resolution Sunlight Readable Reflective LCD color display with
AvMap software technology and WAAS compatibility to provide the ultimate situational
awareness tool for navigation. Jeppesen(r) Navdata and NOAA obstruction data
is included along with a full North, Central and South American compact flash
database with optional databases for worldwide coverage. Land cartography
for The Americas is internal to the unit. Additional street, lake and river
detail, which enhances the internal data, can be obtained with C-MAP Aviation's
regional terrestrial library. The compact, sleek design is only (4.75" W x
7"L x 1.5"H). The Internal 12-channel WAAS GPS provides fast lock-ons. The
system operates on aircraft 12v power but also features internal batteries
for up to 1.5 hours of use. Full flight planning capability is included with
10 flight plans of up to 100 legs each. Full or split HSI screens with data
fields, vertical navigation and routing along with a fuel calculator, wind
computer, timers, trip computer, and aircraft checklists are also featured.

new elevation map layer depicts the elevation of any area for easy situational
awareness while flying or flight planning. The cursor location, when moved,
opens up a dialog box and shows the elevation of that area. Terrain will display
in either vertical or horizontal modes.
