The Artex C&G Series ELT’s transmit on all 3 emergency frequencies
(121.5/243.0 and 406.025 MHz.). They activate during a crash and transmit
the standard swept tone on 121.5 and 243.0 MHz. They also transmit
a 406.025 MHz encoded digital message to the COSPAS/SARSAT
satellite system, for rapid identification and reduced rescue time. They
all meet the FAA s requirements of TSO C126 including 500 G shock,
1000 pound crush, flame and vibration tests. -1 Systems use a single
antenna output. (-2) systems use dual antenna outputs. Systems are avilable
with a whip, rod, or high speed blade antenna. Add the Artex
ELT/NAV Interface to enable lat/long data to be transmitted.
